May Matching Challenge

Greetings!

We are in exciting times here at JOC with great stuff going on and key opportunities ahead of us. We invite you to join us in this unique opportunity to keep moving forward through our May Matching Challenge. $25,000 has been committed already through a group of generous donors. That money will match any money given up to $25,000!

Would you help us meet our goal of raising another $25,000 to get us to $50,000 for the Family Rooms?

Family Room Update: We are now several months into running our 2 Family Rooms, one at the Radiant Inn and another at the Riviera Motel. These are spaces where people can come, connect, and grow. We are creating opportunities for people to take incremental steps toward well-being. People can attend classes and take steps towards their individual goals. As they do, they receive points to spend like cash in the Family Room store. With the love of God centering all of it.

New Street Pastor: We are excited that Andre Scales will join our staff as a new Street Pastor and Family Room Advocate. He and his wife Liticia are moving here from Las Vegas in July. Andre’s years of life and ministry experience will help us go deeper in our current relationships and will also expand our reach. We are grateful to God for them and excited to add Andre to our team. 

Family Room Growth: We are working on moving our Family Room at the Riviera into a larger building with a direct entrance from Colfax. That would give us considerably more visibility and space for the Family Room. It would also provide a home for ASATT (A Seat At The Table) BBQ. Be in prayer for that.

Like I said, lots of exciting things going on. The money given for the May Matching Challenge will be directed at further Family Room development, salary support for Family Room staff, and preliminary work on expanding the Riviera Family Room. 

We are grateful for those who have stepped up with the first $25,000. Will you help us get to the next $25,000 to match that?
