Violence continues to increase along East Colfax. I shared about that recently in my post, “By The Blue Chair.” I told you about the stabbing that happened across from our building and about the 22 year old woman who died next to the Radiant Inn, one of our motels.

The heart of our work is simple. We show up and love some of the most broken people in our city, all in the name of Jesus, all in the hope of bringing them to a more sustainable life. 

It happened by the blue chair, just across from our building. One person stabbed another with a knife. In broad daylight, along Colfax.
